Born in 1966 in Beaufort, South Carolina, Duane Keiser received his master’s degree in fine arts from Brooklyn College in New York, and his undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, where he’s currently an adjunct art professor. His work has appeared in many solo and group exhibitions and hangs in corporate and private collections worldwide. He’s credited with starting the Painting a Day movement in 2004.
